Blog 5: Popularity

Classic is defined by Dictionary.com as;
"1. of the first or highest quality, class, or rank: a classic piece of work."

The novel I have just finsihed reading is "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien, I beleive it is considered to be a classic- and should remain a classic- because it is original, it has a very unique point of view style, and many people have heard of and enjoyed it (including me). I beleive future generations should have the chance to read this book as a considered classic (although they likely won't because classic is generally tied to the word "old", they will likely read it after school to enjoy it, but definitely not during school(and enjoy it(unless they're like me))).

  1. Good sentence structure and description, maybe too many brackets. For me the brackets were confusing at first. A very good overall idea of what makes a classic, a classic - originality - and only one spelling error I noticed (Believe). Great post!
