Blog 7: Nails

What part of the woman (Truddi) will present themselves when she meets Jeannie?

I believe that Nails will come forward when she meets Jeannie because Nails is the Troops defense and she can take the rejections they will likely be first expecting when they meet the woman "Stanley" said they were like.

I selected this image because Nails is "as rough as nails" when she is defending the rest of The Troops.

Character Archetypes; Dr. Myra

Dr. Myra is a character in the book Witches of Willowmere by Alison Baird.

Dr. Myra shows many characteristics of being the mentor archetype because she takes Claire (the main character) under her wing and teaches her and guides her through the truths of the Wiccan religion, what their beliefs are. Dr. Myra tries her hardest to help Claire understand the magic of it and introduce her to it, but she is gone when Claire could most use her advice and is also unreachable. She teaches Claire all she can and then lets her fend for herself (of course the only reason she isn't there is because she is a doctor and she is out of town at the time Claire needs her help).

Blog 5: Popularity

Classic is defined by Dictionary.com as;
"1. of the first or highest quality, class, or rank: a classic piece of work."

The novel I have just finsihed reading is "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien, I beleive it is considered to be a classic- and should remain a classic- because it is original, it has a very unique point of view style, and many people have heard of and enjoyed it (including me). I beleive future generations should have the chance to read this book as a considered classic (although they likely won't because classic is generally tied to the word "old", they will likely read it after school to enjoy it, but definitely not during school(and enjoy it(unless they're like me))).
